Who we are

Ryhana is one of Egypt’s leading food manufacturers, whereas burgeoning and expanding to the international market. creating and supplying food products for high street chains, restaurants, and food service providers.

 

We produce a broad variety of chilled and frozen products, mutually for our clients and for our own brands.

 

In view of the fact that Cilantro claimed its acquisition of Ryhana in 2014 as part of the management buyout and the subsequent sale to HM Partners, the Group has been investing significant assets with the purpose of modernizing the plant implement. The company incurred stringent quality procedures and policies that maximized its integration with the retail network. Ryhana had the precedence to the franchise agreement with Total Egypt. Thereafter, it was authorized by Total France’s high standard inspection unit.

Over and above, Ryhana supplies other third-party clients. In furtherance of Ryhana’s amplification, B2B brand was created. accordingly, Ryhana is currently considered to be the supplier for other companies, such as Starbucks, TOTAL, Caribou, cafe Supreme and other +40 companies.


Ryhana produces semi-finished and finished product, and distributing them to all TBS, TBSW, CB and Delicious Bakery branches. Ryhana is considered to be the manufacturing arm that produces packages and prepares approximately all the goods used in the TBS holding retail network.

Furthermore, we care to constantly invest in technology to align with the international standards, which is proved by receiving the ISO accreditation. as the Group escalating to world class quality benchmarks, we have invested in new cutting-edge technologies including, a Konig breadline and KOMA shock freezing technology. the shock freezing technology is the first of its kind in Egypt and it allows the Ryhana to produce certain products, freeze them and send them to retail outlets in a standardized and safe healthy manner.

George Black

George was graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in UK, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science. He has been working in New Product Development for 25 years. George headed the NPD Department at TBS for two years. George has experience in senior positions working for multinational and large international companies, as well as many well-known food and restaurant brands. With extensive international travel and knowledge of local markets and trends, he has been able to bring authentic international products to TBS customers in Egypt. Residing in the middle-east and working as NPD Manager for the last 6 years in Saudi Arabia and Egypt, he was able to absorb and fully comprehend the local and regional cuisine along with consumer taste preferences.

Chef Nira Shunbo

From a mix of Syrian-Egyptian kitchen, Nira developed her passion for baking as a child.Picking up different techniques, from an early age, helped Nira to stand out and take the passion to a new level of professionality. Nira eventually, enrolled in Cambridge School of Culinary Arts in Massachusetts and studied the fine art of baking, after she spent ten years working in her field of Major. Nira graduated from Simmons College in Boston in 1999 with a double major in Marketing and Global Management. On the contrary, mastering her work in public relations wasn’t fulfilling enough.Accordingly, Nira started The Four Fat Ladies in 2012 in partnership with her sisters. On the account of her diligent talents and excellence in sweet bakery, Nira’s expertise is essential to our NPD Department.
